DANCE

• Dance Repertory Honors: (Formerly known as Pre-AP Dance & Dance Techniques) Honors elective open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). This course will focus on flexibility, muscle endurance, and conditioning (Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Zumba, and Hip-Hop). Students will study different styles of dance as well as anatomy, dance terminology, and dance history. Perform in BDA Showcase. Email Miss Schwartz to request the dance class for the 26-27 school year or your dean.  

*This class is not associated with Color Guard. 

• Bobcat Dance Alliance (BDA): Club open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). Students/members of BDA are able to choreograph dances for the showcase as well. Perform in BDA Showcase. 

• Dance Team (BDT): Performance Team. Dancers are selected by tryout/audition only. Perform in all pep rallies, select home Basketball games, and the BDA Showcase.

• Blue Elite Pom Team: Competitive Performance Team. Dancers are selected by audition only. Perform in competitions, holiday pep rally, select home Basketball games, and the BDA Showcase. *Starting 26-27
