DANCE

• Dance Repertory Honors: (Formerly known as Pre-AP Dance & Dance Techniques) Honors elective open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). This course will focus on flexibility, muscle endurance, and conditioning (Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Zumba, and Hip-Hop). Students will study different styles of dance as well as anatomy, dance terminology, and dance history. Perform in BDA Showcase. Email Miss Schwartz to request the dance class for the 26-27 school year or reach out to the new principal.  

*This class is not associated with Color Guard. The previous name of the course has been reassigned for members of Color Guard only.

• Bobcat Dance Alliance (BDA): Club open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). Students/members of BDA are able to choreograph dances for the showcase as well. Perform in BDA Showcase. 

• Dance Team (BDT): Performance Team. Dancers are selected by tryout/audition only. Perform in all pep rallies, select home Basketball games, and the BDA Showcase.

• NHSDA: National Honor Society of Dance Arts. Members must meet certain requirements to be inducted. Points are earned attending BDA meetings and performing in the showcase. *Not available at this time.
