DANCE

• Dance Technique Honors: Honors elective open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). This course will focus on flexibility, muscle endurance, and conditioning (Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Zumba, and Hip-Hop). Students will study different styles of dance as well as anatomy, dance terminology, and dance history. Perform in BDA Showcase. 

• Bobcat Dance Alliance (BDA): Club open to 9th-12th graders (open to dancers of all levels). Students/members of BDA are able to choreograph dances for the showcase as well. Perform in BDA Showcase. 

• Dance Team (BDT): Performance Team. Dancers are selected by tryout/audition only. Perform in all pep rallies, select home Basketball games, and the BDA Showcase.

• NHSDA: National Honor Society of Dance Arts. Members must meet certain requirements to be inducted. Points are earned attending BDA meetings and performing in the showcase. *Not available yet.
